IP Licensing

IP Transfer and Licensing

We structure IP transfer, licensing, distribution, and other arrangements that protect innovation and unlock value – helping businesses move confidently from idea to impact to achieve their commercial objectives. In connection with the development of new technologies, we provide support with the associated research and development contracts, including government-funded development projects, and also advise on all related regulatory requirements.

Our focus is on ensuring rights are clearly defined, value is appropriately allocated, and technology and IP assets can be confidently shared, scaled, and monetised across markets. We advise on a broad range of licensing models and transfer strategies, tailoring frameworks to reflect the nature of the underlying technology, ownership position, and commercial objectives.

By collaborating closely with colleagues in our corporate, M&A, finance, tax, privacy, antitrust, and regulatory practices, we deliver integrated solutions to even the most complex arrangements. Whether you're a fast-growing start-up or a global market leader, we meet you where you need us most – with clarity, confidence, and a focus on your goals.
