She assists governments in WTO dispute settlement proceedings and has served as co-counsel in several WTO disputes involving a broad range of substantive areas, including trade in goods, anti-dumping, subsidies, and technical barriers to trade. Viktoria also advises clients on the compatibility of national measures with WTO agreements and provides guidance on bilateral and regional trade agreements.
Viktoria has extensive experience with trade defense instruments, having participated in numerous anti-dumping, anti-subsidy, and safeguard investigations across various jurisdictions, including the EU, the UK, and Ukraine.
In addition, she advises on economic sanctions compliance and regulatory matters, such as the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
Before joining Hogan Lovells, Viktoria worked at top-tier law firms in Brussels and Kyiv, and was involved in teaching and research projects at the World Trade Institute of the University of Bern.
