Mathilde is both part of our Luxembourg investment funds and regulatory practice groups.

Mathilde focuses her practice on structuring and establishing investment funds, either regulated of unregulated, with respect to AIFMD issues, and investing in all types of assets. She is particularly active in assisting assets managers specialised in private equity, real estate, and infrastructure. 

Furthermore, she assists clients on financial and general regulatory issues such as MIFID II, PSD 2, SFDR, ESG, AML/CFT, FDIs etc; and also on sectors regulations (automotive, insurance and reinsurance, consumer protection), as well as commercial agreements.

Timberland Investment Resources Europe (TIR) in setting up its second investment vehicle in Luxembourg.

Ace & Company on the full set up of a new Luxembourg investment vehicle, under the form a Reserved Alternative Investment Fund (RAIF), sponsored by the client.

Infracapital Partners on all aspects of the launch of their third brownfield infrastructure fund.  The fund raised £1.2 billion at first closing.

M&G Real Estate on the launch of its open-ended European residential real estate fund, established in Luxembourg with UK-based portfolio and asset managers (in excess of €500m).

Natixis and illimity Bank, as arrangers, in relation to a securitisation of receivables arising from loans granted by a Luxembourgish fund managed by Azimut Investments to Italian SMEs.

UBS Asset Management and Northern Fiber Holding on €550 million financing for fiber roll-out.
