Bridging complex contracting and evolving regulatory frameworks, Susanne Schuster empowers businesses to navigate high-impact operational and strategic projects. As a key member of our Strategic Operations, Agreements and Regulation (SOAR) practice, she focuses on national and international trade and distribution law as well as product regulatory matters, particularly for clients in the automotive and mobility, chemical, consumer goods and technology industries.

Susanne is passionate about shaping the future of mobility and driving innovation. She advises clients on regulatory and commercial challenges associated with emerging technologies – from automated and autonomous driving, connected vehicles, new mobility concepts, and developments in the automotive aftermarket – and helps integrate ESG-driven sustainable products regulations into their strategies and compliance frameworks.

A core part of Susanne's work is the drafting and negotiation of complex contracts across the full value chain, including procurement, production, sales, distribution, and strategic partnerships. She regularly supports clients in developing and restructuring innovative distribution systems, and manages complex, cross-practice and multi-jurisdictional projects.

A key asset is Susanne’s ability to operate at the intersection of commercial operations and product regulation. She guides clients through international, EU and German regulatory requirements, including market access rules, labeling and notification requirements and compliance risks.

She has also gained valuable practical insights during several long-term secondments with our clients, including with a technology company and an automotive supplier.
